Get the most out of your Stashcook app

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Looking to make meal planning a breeze? Stashcook has several features designed to help you save time, stay organised, and make the most of your weekly meals. Here are a few ways to plan smarter, not harder 👇

📅 Duplicate a Weekly Meal Plan

Plan a week of meals in the Stashcook Meal Planner. Once you’re happy with your plan, simply tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select ‘Duplicate Week’.
You’ll be able to reuse the same week’s worth of recipes whenever you like - saving you time and effort on future meal plans.

🛒 Share to the Shopping List

After planning your meals, tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select ‘Add to Shopping List’.
All the ingredients needed for the week will automatically appear in your Shopping List, making your grocery shop quick and effortless.

📝 Notes for Leftovers

Use the Notes feature in the Meal Planner to add reminders such as using up leftovers.
This helps you plan multiple meals from one cooking session - saving both time and money. It’s also a great way to cut down on food waste by making sure every ingredient gets used.

🧺 Using the Pantry

Keep track of what you already have with the Pantry feature. You can customise it to suit your household - for example:

  • Create a freezer inventory to track frozen meals and ingredients

  • Use it to monitor cupboard staples like chopped tomatoes, beans, and grains

To open the pantry, tap the ‘shopping’ icon, then the three lines in the top-left corner. From there, you can easily switch between your Shopping List and Pantry.

📚 Organizing Collections

Use Collections to keep your recipes organised and easy to find.
For instance, you could create a collection called “Pasta” where you save all your pasta dishes.
Having recipes neatly grouped helps you plan meals faster and keeps everything right at your fingertips.
